What're some Virtual syths that you guys would recommend that work well with ableton? I was going to use the one that came with my arturia but I can't find any of the paper work that came with it.

I've been messing around with ableton for a couple of months now but I wanted to get into editing vocals and adding them to beats. Can this be done through ableton or is there another piece of software that you guys would recommend?

Awesome, alright thank you guys! I'll be holding out for a couple of months until I start to really get into it and have a feel for it all.

My lap top is pretty nice, it's an MSI with 8 gigs of ram and an i7 processor. I just don't know if buying the external is something I need at the beginning or if it's worth it to spend the $$$ and get it over with.

I'll be purchasing my basic setup of a korg microkey25, kontrol 2 and a pair of audio technica 50rds to get started and was wondering if for getting started with production I would need an external audio card? So after spending the weekend not drinking and looking up reviews i'm 99% sure im going with a korg micro key and korg nanokontrol 2, what do you guys think?

It would cost me about $250 for all 3 of them.

Should I pick up the launch pad+launch control or would it better getting the mpk25+kontrol or a combination of the 3?

I was leaning towards push but after talking to some people it seems like i'll be spending most of my time on the computer editing so maybe a korg nano setup/launchpad+control would be better.

What about something like that MPK25?

Looking to pick up a 25 key midi and trying to see if anyone has been using that korg setup vs and all in one 25 key or if it's worth it to spend the extra money $$$ for the novation/axiom.

I wanted to hear some opinions from people who have gone from Maschine to Push or who have stayed with Maschine over push and why. I am still up in the air on which one to go for but from the reviews i've read i'm starting to lean more towards push. What're your thoughts?
