Virtual Syth
What're some Virtual syths that you guys would recommend that work well with ableton? I was going to use the one that came with my arturia but I can't find any of the paper work that came with it.

Getting the basics
I've been watching some youtube videos and spending my free time messing around with making beats and editing what I know how to do but is there any posts/videos I can look into that will get me on a good start? I've been trying to read stuff on the forums but a lot of the nomenclature gets me ...

How to edit vocals (recommendations)
I've been messing around with ableton for a couple of months now but I wanted to get into editing vocals and adding them to beats. Can this be done through ableton or is there another piece of software that you guys would recommend?

Re: what point do you need an external audiocard/headphone amp
My lap top is pretty nice, it's an MSI with 8 gigs of ram and an i7 processor. I just don't know if buying the external is something I need at the beginning or if it's worth it to spend the $$$ and get it over with.

what point do you need an external audiocard/headphone amp
I'll be purchasing my basic setup of a korg microkey25, kontrol 2 and a pair of audio technica 50rds to get started and was wondering if for getting started with production I would need an external audio card? I was going to download the asio driver to help but from what I've read until you start ...

Should I pick up the launch pad+launch control or would it better getting the mpk25+kontrol or a combination of the 3?

Re: Getting started, what to buy
I was leaning towards push but after talking to some people it seems like i'll be spending most of my time on the computer editing so maybe a korg nano setup/launchpad+control would be better.

Korg nanokontrol+microkey vs axiom 25 or Nocturn
Looking to pick up a 25 key midi and trying to see if anyone has been using that korg setup vs and all in one 25 key or if it's worth it to spend the extra money $$$ for the novation/axiom.

Push/MK2
I wanted to hear some opinions from people who have gone from Maschine to Push or who have stayed with Maschine over push and why. I am still up in the air on which one to go for but from the reviews i've read i'm starting to lean more towards push. What're your thoughts?

I just purchased push and am stoked to start learning how to make music. I've been watching the tutorials off of the ableton website and a few others online but does anyone know where else I can turn to for more information? I am brand new to any of this and it's starting to become a little ...
