biostatic and sporadic in particular both use Live, I think. I'm not sure there's a big organized scene out there, but there are definitely some really cool people around doing interesting things...

I think Backlit is happening at Milk now in SF.

It's happening tonight (Monday the 16th) actually! Milk at 1840 Haight Street, right across from Amoeba. I'm playing at 9pm, using hardware synths not Ableton, but show up and say hi anyway.

I am using these plugins and LOVE them... especially the delay and phaser. They have a sound that evokes real analog hardware, something I've only found consistently in a few other plugins (UAD's Roland effects, for instance).
