Re: sample magic secrets of house

Guys - I wrote a review of it - Thought I'd share it in case it helps provide a bit of light.

I've had the book over a week now. Its pretty cool. But might be too simple for Production Legends.

I think its much better than Computer Music stuff - It would definitely be on a par or slightly better ...

What did you decide in the end? I think I'm going to go for one for the Audio files and one for the System.

What I'm wondering is ...

I have managed to figure out that having the "Operating System" such as XP / Vista / Tiger etc.. on one drive works best, and then storing all of your ...

Its a fair price.. (I've been brainwashed by NI)

and its got:

1 controller knob & 3 switches - built in.

Which can be used as a crossfader / killswitches.. You can monitor on it too with an A/B switch on the front which is top!!

Should be able ...

if you get a external, make sure you get firewire and not usb

Cheers Mike..

I'm getting a NI Audio Kontrol 1, and its USB.

I've had no real probs with USB in the past or present and always have heard / figured that USB2 would win the day eventually etc..

AK1 is what I've ordered anyway ...
