Re: Full screen dual monitors?
I thought Live 9.1 introduces support for two windows. Why would you have to make it full screen to improve your workflow? I'm simply curious.

Re: BEST WAY TO GET VOCALS OUT OF A FILM???
I would like to do a few tracks using lines (audio) from films.......... What is the best way to "extract these" and import them into Ableton/Cubase? Thanks in advance peeps!

Re: Push owners: has Push replaced the keyboard?
Shit out of luck trying to try one out in the shop; the demand is too big for them to keep a demo unit.
You should go to a live show or ask a local artist when they are playing next. There must be a community of people who own them if they are in such high demand where you live! I wouldn't ...

Re: Un-consolidating a clip?
Before you ever make big changes to anything always consider copy and pasting the AudioTrack/MidiTrack and freezing the older version. This will allow you to always come back to your previous version, without going through the hassle of saving a new file. Although I do both because things just ...

Re: endless clicking/crackling problems with Live 9?
There could be a list of things that could cause this but I'd like to better understand the issue:
Could you tell me more about the complexity of your production? I've built synths out and engineered automations up to 20+ with at least 10 FX/thirdpartyFX, and up to 30.... and have seen what will ...

Re: Push owners: has Push replaced the keyboard?
Besides my minimoog, push is hands down my favorite piece of equipment in my studio. I have a tendency of digging too deep with the mouse/keyboard sometimes and this has allowed me to back away and really feel what I'm doing. I personally have played many instruments growing up but never learned the ...

Re: A question about Limiter on Master...
When I first started I was releasing my music in too high of a quality and it was exporting out these random peaks that I didn't understand until I researched bitrates/samplerates/filecompression/etc... Really helps to freeze/flat then check your master level before you even start really trying to ...

Hello Chap,
I know the feels! Mixing and mastering can be weird. Especially when using ableton.... Lets take a few steps back. How many tracks are in this mix? Do you go through and fix red line spikes when you finish producing? Do you filter out frequencies you don't use? And are you using the ...

Re: Best workflow for editing audio sample externally
Any external instrument with audio input is capable of doing this, or any external analog mixer which could route to other FX peddles or another input! Lots of fun, small learning curve.
