Re: Push 3

I'd like to see them adapt a workflow for Arrange view on the Push. That's a major neglected area that Ableton hasn't addressed for some odd reason...

Re: Ableton Live 10 - whats your favourite new features?

I know there are lots of improvements - just not 189 quid of improvements

it's not their fault - nobody buys music software any more because:

a) everyone pirates software
b) you can't make any money from music any more because
i) it's easy to copy it
ii) it's easy to make music like everyone ...

Re: Transferring Cubase Content into Ableton

I assume the drumsets are Groove agent drum kits? If so then you can embed a VST inside a drum rack and use it in Ableton. I made a video awhile ago that shows the process with Kontakt:

Good luck!

Re: Best Ableton Keyboard Controller

Your best bet is a Push 2 AND a keyboard. Push's integration with the DAW is the best of any sequencer out there, all the parameters are at your fingertips and are fast is practice and easy to get around, yet I find playing the pads melodically sort of awkward.

I do have quite a bit of experience ...

Re: Maschine Jam vs. Push 2

If you spend the majority of your time producing in Live then Push is a must. One of the best integration's of hardware and software going.

Maschine I never got along with and having a funky, crippled second hand sequencer is redundant...

Re: Why does Ableton keep adding new features that no one wants?

Well said. I wonder what percentage of Live users actually use stupid freaking Push. Anyone know? Can't be a lot. I wish Ableton would abandon it already and focus on software. They seriously are like a car company that's selling fancy rims while the car is missing wheels. Live still has major ...

Amen to that. I had Push 1 but just got the Push 2 and if you're using Live it's a must. This thing is just so good...

Re: Using multiple Push controllers

For those with multiple Push units I have a question. If both are set to note mode, can you transpose one independently from the other if you're playing an instrument like a piano?
