went to the software synth plug-in and got it working from there the EZ way.. Just assign controller knobs to software synth knobs and the knob turning gets recorded as CC envelopes like you want to in the session clip..

are you folks saying there is a way to record automation (knob turning) from NI Kore2 into a session clip?

I can't seem to get st pro to go into measure and beat mode..
it's stuck in Time seconds mode which really sucks.

I just want to copy and paste a guitar riff from measure 5 to 9. in session view.
It's so EZ in Cubase.

I did the RTFM thing many ...

The salesman told me everyone records with an external HD on the Macbook pro 2 Gig Ram (5400 rpm internal drive)..I so I got the Glyph firewire 400 external drive (500Gig), Now I want to make sure I am recording on the external drive.. I have the following folders set up:

I use a Glyph (firewire) external drive on Macbook pro OSX 10.4.10

Live makes the proper project folder per manual on internal Mac HD

on external drive it dumps all recorded audio files together in some folder called "recorded" why would it do that?
on which drive should I save my sets anyway?

can an ableton Live 6 set (16 Audio TRACKS) be converted to pro tools format? if so, HOW?

I am a MAC NEWBIE MY PURCHASED DISC IS LIVE 6.01 I HAVE TRIED THE ONLINE UPGRADE to 6.07 and end up with both versions on my macbook pro If i trash 6,01 I lose samples for Impulse..what is clean and EZ procedure for upgrading?
