Lucky Star - Drum and Bass

Hi, i'm a Hip Hop producer mainly, but i thought i'd get a little experimental and try some Drum and Bass.

I'd appreciate it if anyone has a moment to listen to my track and give me some feedback!

Re: Ableton Live 10

Yeah, thats fine, i was only wondering because right now i'm rocking an Intel i7 4770k overclocked @ 4.4 GHz and the newly released i7 8700k can easily reach 5 GHz with watercooling which is a decent boost in itself, however if Live isn't going to properly utilize those 2 extra cores then it is a bi...

Re: Ableton Live 10

My bad it's a track per core like you said. So i'm guessing then Live will always be more dependant on single core performance than multi-core? Also i have been using Live for at least 5 years now so have no idea what other DAWs are like, but i have used FL Studio and Reason in the past and i'm gues...

Re: Ableton Live 10

What does everyone think about Ableton 10 having better Multi-Core support? I guess we can only speculate at this point, but i'm interested as Intel have just released their 8th Generation series of Processors and have brought about 6 Core / 12 Threads in their mainstream CPU's so i wonder if Ableto...

Re: Upgrading Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 to RME Babyface Pro

If you can't run a lower latency with an RME card, then likely it's something in your computer and not a soundcard issue. RME is known for having some of the lowest latency around, if that's something that's important to you. I'm not sure how the Focusrite card sounds, but at that pricepoint I'd th...

Re: Upgrading Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 to RME Babyface Pro

I'm viewing the latency in Ableton Settings. http://s24.postimg.org/4m7g8er11/Focusrite_Scarlett_Latency.jpg I've heard some people can get their Latency down to around 5ms, however when i change the settings in the MixControl app i can get down to about 30ms before it starts to make popping noises....

Upgrading Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 to RME Babyface Pro

I currently use a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 and while i'm pleased with the sound, the latency of this box is a little on the high side (60ms in Ableton) so now that i have some extra cash in my pocket i was thinking of upgrading to a RME Babyface Pro. I have heard the Babyface Pro has really low latenc...

Re: Thunderbolt...worth the upgrade?

I too am looking into Thunderbolt Audio Interfaces, more specifically the Focusrite Clarett range. I currently have a Focusrite Scarlett 6i6, which does everything i want it to and the sound is good, however the latency times aren't the greatest. Thats why i'm looking into Thunderbolt devices hoping...

PC Upgrade for Ableton Questions

Hi, i've been saving for a while and originally i was going to get the Ableton Push 2, but more recently i've been thinking of saving for a new PC first. My first question is about the multi-core support in Ableton Live. I have been looking to go for a new Intel-based system and Intel have both Quad...
