sure you can do it with max4live...
so right now the only thing to do is do it with impulse and adjust the length of the sample with the time streching option, to match with tempo variation...
it doesn't mater when your not in a ...

what i mean is to launch an audio clip as "an audio clip"
like when you clic on the play button of that clip....
in example say you have an audio clip whith a reverse crash sample and you want to trigger it whith the note comming from a drum rack. that ...

hello i would find a way to trigger an audio clip whith a note played in a drum rack...
that way i could sequence samples conserving the warp capability (tempo sync loop length)
for things like reversed samples....
it would be great!!
