What did not you understand?
Original NI content is superb and well worth 100$ but the user lib usually way below modern (even free) plugins. It was ace in the mid 2000s.

Korg Volca and other gadgets
I've been a digital guy but those gadgets Korg recently made (Kaossilator, Monotribe etc) are tempting. Mostly Volca series.

Re: Reaktor 5 - €99 till June 20th
For $99 it is a steal. They must be finally working up to Reaktor 6.
Unlikely. I have bought R5 years ago. Same sale - it was 100 USD.
However it is not that good. I thought i will use thousands of free patches but as turned out those in the user lib cannot compare to retail products. But i've ...

Looks like ableton doesn't use vectorized fonts and objects and all is bitmap like in the 80's and 90's video games

Re: mastering plugins
t-racks doesn't sound clean (transparent) enough for mastering to my ear. it's not an all rounder, tends to have a specific sound, while ozone it's clean, flexible and adaptable to any kind of music, plus the limiter and the dithering options are far more powerful than t-racks.

Re: mastering plugins
I see. But i like coloration that's why i found Ozone too artificial. There was no coloration whatsoever even if i pushed the volume. I like how T-racks plugins bring mild saturation/clip/whatever to the mix. What i dislike is the too wide crossovers. In Ozone i can set them to almost zero.

Pro -L is supposed to be the best limiter / loudness maximiser for covering all music types.

Re: mastering plugins
ozone is good, great limiter and dither. fab filter stuff are good too. i'm not a big fan of tracks, quite hard to get good results with it for me. (i run a mastering studio)
Could you be more specific? How do you mean hard to get good results? is it the limiter (which one?)
However it looks ...

mastering plugins
I've tried a bunch of mastering plugs in the recent years but now i am looking for the ultimate one. In the near future we are planning to establish a label and releasing both vinyl and digital.
i am thinking of these 3 alternatives:
Ozone - it looks like an all-in one package but what i recall it ...

I was working on an installation and haven't find a better way but the plugin doesn't even converted a very basic solo piano track correctly to midi notes. I didn't even try chords.
