Re: Bitwig Studio looks amazing!!!
I'm more anxious about getting on an official Bitwig forum to start the conversations about the Linux version.
If Bitwig falls short on the Linux version, I think it will put a sour taste in the mouth for future music app. creators for the Linux platform. It will scare them all away. The pressure ...

This is true. But, the absence of arrangement view can be a good thing sometimespanten wrote: RE: Tabletop I think it's a great idea but I didn't like the lack of Timeline Arrangement view. You seem to be locked to 'Scenes'
The DrumMachine is pretty cool though and has some nice stock samples.

I was wearing my serious mask when I asked that question! Let's take bets that on the release date, this ableton forum's first page will be filled with BitWig topics!

Tabletop is free. You can create songs with the free dozen music devices it comes with. There are paid devices you can add if you want.

Re: The Great BitWig Migration
and vst developers start to release on this platform.. well its going to be interesting to follow the evolution. With Valve/Steam aka iTunes for games onboard the Linux user group might grow substantially over the next few years. Maybe BitWig will do the same for the music production industry ...
