I had a similar problem but managed to find a fix. The problem seemed to have something to do with my default template which included M4L devices. Live opened fine in 9.2 before I set its preferences to point at M4L 7. After I set it to M4L 7 Live would just crash.

I've dabbled with other DAWs in the past but have been using Live 9 for about six months and Push for about 3. These two tracks are the closest to what I'd call finished that I've done since moving to Live. All the creation, arranging, mixing, etc. were done in Live with no additional plugins ...
