Re: What is the point in warping?
If all the tracks are 128 bpm and their beats are 4-4 warping should be easy. Most of the times you only have to manually correct the first warp marker position and probably you won't need any more markers. Warping is fast and easy if you understand how it works. If you still have problems with it j...

Re: Which option? Live 9 Standard+Komplete vs Live 9 Suite.
If you are starting and if your work is going to be very synth based, I wouldn't buy komplete until I'd learnt a little about synth programing. Spend that money in education, try syntorial (http://www.syntorial.com/), it seems a good shaped synth course and you can use the included synth with live. ...

Re: waves vs live 9 suite effect devices | ozone also
Eq 8 is more than fine now, the comp is good and gate is much better now. The glue is suberb. Multiband dynamics works grate, I use it a lot. If you want to add something, try the cheaper alternatives, cheaper but as good if not better than more expensive stuff like waves. Personally I like toneboos...

Re: Are studio monitors any good for a small gig?
No, they are not. You will try to push the monitors as soon as people are talking or asking for more volume, and you will get distorted sound in the best case and broken monitors in the worst. Nearfield monitors are not enough for 100 people.
Gigs = PA speakers.

Re: Fabfilter Mastering Bundle Vs Live 9
I would go for Live 9, and then go for This http://www.toneboosters.com/bus-tools/
This pack is 60€, amazing value. I think it gives the missing pieces for mastering.
And then, I would go back to fabfilter and get Saturn. That thing is just incredible.

If I get the live 9 standard upgrade for 129 €, I guess I will have still my MFL and suite instruments licence?!!!
I would only miss the 50 gb library but I don´t care about that. Is it right?

Alchemy is nice, very deep.
I'd try Izotope Iris too. Easier to use and it sounds incredible for my taste. And you can drag and drop samples to it from live's browser, that's a plus.

I would say KRK RP5s Cheap, small but got punch For beginners and dance music they are perfect if you were going for rokit's, for 300 euro you could get a pair of 6's or 8's probably the way to go if you want to know what's going on in your low end at all. I am eternally kicking myself for going ch...
