Guess what, the replacement unit I got seems to have the same issue, but this time with another encoder. I'm sure it will be replaced under warranty again, but at the same time i'm scared this will happen again and again until the warranty runs out.

I went back and forth with customer support, but in the end they got me to send my unit and sent a replacement. I got a referbished one, but it looks as new, and works fine though.

thanks for the reply. I was planning on getting in touch with support, I know there is a 3 year warranty and i'm still within that limit.

Do you know if they gave you a new one, or a refurbished one? As mine never left my desk and is still in pristine condition. Would hate it to be replaced by one ...

I have the same issue, but with my second encoder. Did not make a video yet. Hope there is a reset or something that can solve it, without sending it back.

One of the things that I love about Note and Move is the random instruments preset feature which lets you just load it up and start jamming immediately. That's a nice change of pace to get randomly generated options.

yeah, for me it's about the 'quick function'.
I usually drag the simpler drum pad from the drum rack to a seperate channel to play it chromatically. If we could get it straight out of the box on Push like the Move that would be great.

(Currently own the non-standalone version, but saving up for the upgrade. I use Note all the time to start something, then continue in Live. I imagine it would be nice to continue something ...

On Push, when you have a drum rack, you can cycle through the modes pressing the Layout button: Loop selector, 16 velocities, Macro variations, 64 pads.

They could/should squeeze in a '16 pitches' mode, so we can have this on Push as well!

I could not find anything in the Push 3 Manual, but is Ableton Cloud available on Push standalone?

As in, would be nice to continue a sketch started in Note on Push.

I am working on a default simpler to use when dropping samples on a drum rack. This is a scenario where i don't need or want my samples warped.

This should be user-configurable, and the warp button should at least user mappable.

I love the way I can take my push and laptop to the dinner table or the couch and work on a track without having to be connected to power. I was thinking about battery power as well... maybe an idea ...
