Re: Explosives Found in World Trade Center Dust
Throwaway, the paper was published in The Open Chemical Physics Journal: http://tinyurl.com/de6448 I don't believe there's been one licensed structural engineer, who had access to the site and actual debris, that's gone on or off record stating that explosives may have been used. If there's been one...

Plus if he is unwilling to allow it to be tested he has as much credibility as the british lady who claims to speak to aliens and said they were coming last year. Where did you get the idea that he is unwilling to allow it to be tested? Cite your source please cite your source that he is credible. ...

Re: Explosives Found in World Trade Center Dust
Heres a little snipet on jones: Jones' paper has been the center of controversy both for its content and its claims to scientific rigor.[19] Jones' early critics included members of BYU's engineering faculty;[20] shortly after he made his views public, the BYU College of Physical and Mathematical S...

Re: Explosives Found in World Trade Center Dust
from the Fire Engineering magazine special report Of all the adjacent buildings, 7 World Trade Center , a 47-story building to the north of the North Tower, across Vesey Street, presented the greatest threat of collapse. It hovered over the debris field on which hundreds of firefighters searched. I...

Re: Explosives Found in World Trade Center Dust
Everything has been accounted for. That's funny because there is absolutely no account of the collapse of WTC7 in the official 9/11 Commission report. Building 7 "collapsed faster than gravity would permit---and perfectly within its own footprint. Inside that building were choice bits of histo...

but since you're looking for a synth, you should be aware that the emx as a synth is pretty limited. yeah, I realize the electribe's are somewhat limited but that can be a good thing. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with the emx. It'd be nice to have its step sequencer to complement the MPC and Korg ...

for that kind of money....if you have a fast enough computer go out and get stylus rmx it's got 7.4GB of drums and sounds plus effects and only for $279US, plus you can easily lay down four on the floor grooves. I would keep the 1000 though just to shoot out some raw gritty samples. what's the spec...

EMX-1 or ESX-1 w/ Live and MPC1000?
I want to get one of the Korg Electribes to go with my MPC1000 and laptop running Ableton Live but not sure whether to get the EMX-1 or the ESX-1. The MPC or Live will most likely be the master sequencer. I want an Electribe to use as a supplementary fruity loops-style matrix step sequencer in sync ...

Firewire soundcard bus-powered from a C2D Macbook Pro?
So which firewire interface out there can actually be bus-powered from a Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro (without having to plug the power adaptor initially)? So far, I've heard the following all fail to be truly bus powered from a C2D MBP: firebox konnect 8/24d metric halo saffire le (also reports of buzzin...
