Re: Push Mini suggestion
I like the idea of a Push Mini but not this concept except they plan to go modular with their devices.
I'd rather see a smaller Push with less pads and a bigger screen.

Re: Pitch analysis
You're likely having the same problem that you've heard that "midi devices on bass guitar" have. That being that the longer waves produced by bass strings are inherently tougher to track. The "3–4 notes" you're getting from the synth could be the tracker picking up the fundament...

Re: Pitch analysis
Just tried today. It seems like the pitch tracking is quick enough to use it with a bass guitar. But the problem was more for actually properly sending this notes as midi data. Basically the setup was: Bass guitar -> Audio track with Pitch tracker -> Midi track with the MidiReceiver device -> Bass s...

Re: Pitch analysis
What's wrong with the Audio-to-MIDI feature that's native to Live 9? Or are you talking about triggering a MIDI instrument live through pitch tracking? Yes that's what I meant. I want to test it myself but can't until saturday so I was wondering if someone already used it like this and if the pitch...

The detected pitch can be monitored using a simple monophonic synthesizer. The estimated pitch and velocity are transfo...

Re: Is it worth buying ? I own a novation sl mk2 and launchpad
I always work in session mode, then I do a quick arrangement to temporary stick some ideas. What seems pretty cool about it, is that it has a hardware feel but much more versatile because you can access all your synths from it, and also that some productions ideas can be directly thought and done fr...

Is it worth buying ? I own a novation sl mk2 and launchpad
Hey I just want to know if it would be worth buying a Push considering these few things: -I'm not entirely satisfied with my current setup (novation sl mk2 25 and launchpad). I mean both are good for live performance but in the studio setup I'm still always using my mouse to edit things. I find the ...
