Surface Pro / Smithson Martin Emulator / Live 9 user here - works brilliantly. I have a six page layout which controls everything from faders and clip launch to VST instruments and my midi enabled guitar pedals. Its pretty incredible.

Very happy user of Surface Pro 2 + Live + RME Babyface here. Wicked low latency and seriously portable. Can run multiple very hungry VSTs (like u-he diva) simultaneously.

I just bought the waves CLA compressors, and they didn't show up in Live until I set my custom VST folder to a different folder, re-scanned for vsts, then set it back to the correct folder and scanned again. After that, they showed up.
