INSTALL QUICKTIME SOLVED,,,

Same issue here, I was working no problem with Ableton 8.0.4 And I upgrade to Window s7 All files has been always in a second hard drive,

Now i reopen a project i done 2 weeks ago and simply half of the files cant open, the same legend,

I have tons of files mostly mp3 that are in that condition ...

Sqame issue over here, do you fixed? it happens with only some audio clips, i already have thiose files on a project, I upgrade to windows 7 and now reopening the project there are some tracks in white , there are on the hardrive i just cant drag thm or imported..

fixed, i just reinstall XP instead of Vista, it seems to be some problem with the ATI Drivers on Vista

Well in my case i have all on STEINBERG/VST PLUG INS
You should try to move the .dll of the vsti that you dont see into the folder where all the rest are visble

IMO theres a probem with the Mp3 archives on ableton, I have Pc running P4 3.0 1 Gb ram and when i drag mp3 files the program presents an error and closes ..

how can i divide the audio files, for example an acapella, split in several units,. so i can reorder and adjust with precision,... (in cubase theres the sissors tool, here we have something similar???)

I do this, depends on the gear you have of course,

I have an Ensoniq Sampler, in Loop forward, change the start and end points untill you get the sustain effect that you wish,

Also on a Cd Player like CDJ 1000 or similars (pioneeer) loop modes, or any audio editor that hape loop mode and you can ...

Mee too, I used when i need to listen some details, but thats it.

I have been used 7506 for years. That ones work good for me.
