The Ableton Live CPU meter is really the buffer utilization meter. What are your settings for sample rate and buffer size?

You can have almost zero CPU utilization (Task Manager) and high Ableton Live "CPU" (buffer) utilization if you're running an extremely low buffer size, like 32 samples.

I had the exact same issue with Push 3 SA losing its auth after an upgrade. No response from Ableton in over a week, but I joined the Push 3 beta, and 12.0b30 authed without any issues, so I'm using that until the official 12.0 image releases.

I copied a bunch of .alp files to the Push 3 SA as described above, and rebooted a couple of times, but they never show up.

Just from the info in your post, I am 90% sure that this is a CPU thermal issue, probably due to a bad paste/heatsink.

What are your current temps / voltage / etc.?

If you have some sort of performance monitor running while you attempt to load Live devices, what spikes do you see? CPU? RAM? SSD ...

27" is too small for curved to be worth it. Curved makes sense at about 32 ultrawide and upward.

1080 on 24" looks great.
1080 on 27" looks like garbage.

That piano/bell sound just has a thick reverb that's probably only affecting the high end. Just throw on a reverb unit and go to town.
