Hi Alex, I had the same problem with Live5.2: CPU spikes at the first launch for some audio or Midi clips - allways on the same clips and no clear link between them or between the Fx configuration on the related tracks. I tried the 5.3b6 version and it seems that the problem disappeared: it was hear...

Hello Danjel,

Usually, inserting the .dll file corresponding with your MIDI pluggin (ex: loungelizard, B4, etc...) in your VST folder is sufficient (as for your audio VSTs).
I guess it will be the same for the MIDI generating pluggins.

Does it answer to your question?

Hi Benjamin B,

Did you checked the access time of your HD?
I had the same kind of problem with a 7200RPM FW HD and since I changed it for a HD with better access time, it is really better.

Hi MrYellow,

I mean renaming the track AND removing the number automatically assigned by Live.

I use my own numerotation to deal with a lot of tracks and the numbers assigned by Live are confusing me...

And using Ctrl+E only allows changing the field after the automatically assigned number...

I play in a New-Jazz/Electro down tempo group: machines (Live4-based), electric double bass, singer and other instrumentists (saxophone, flute)
At the moment we only made 5 shows in the last 6 months because it's a little bit hard to find a place to play our set here in Paris...
