Innerclock Syncgen II and Live 11
Hi all This problem is really a Focusrite question but I'll try my luck here as well as the Focusrite forums. Just wondering if anyone here is using an Innerclock Syncgen Pro II with Live 11? ... I'm trying to get the two to talk to each other via my Scarlett+ 2pre and the Focusrite Control software...

Date format (Y/M/D) generated for audio clips
Hi Is there a way to choose a different format for the auto-generated date format on audio clips in arrangement view? At the moment on my copy of Live (10.1), the format is Year-Month-Day and then the time I recorded the clip eg today would be [2021-10-08 time xxx-xxx] What I'd like is Day-Month-Yea...

Ummmm....
Maybe by disarming the record button before you start to improvise?

Re: Mixing in mono on a single speaker?
Thanks for the replies! I'll look into how to hook things up - maybe there's some kind of switch box, even? (Switching outputs in Live's preferences isn't that much of a hassle, of course, but the idea of just pressing a button or turning a knob is nice ;) I use a single Avantone mono speaker to do...

Re: No audio
I had a similar problem with my Focusrite audio interface (or so I thought) ... no audio no matter what i did .... I tried everything including a complete re-install of Live and the Focusrite drivers... hours and hours of fiddling around and no joy.... I finally solved the problem by switching on my...

Which CPU is best for Live 10 - Intel or AMD?
Hi all My desktop computer is on the way out so I'm looking at replacing it fairly soon. I was just wondering if there was/is any difference in performance running Live 10 with an Intel processor as compared to using one by AMD? My son who is a computer geek explained how the multicore setup differs...

Locator colour
Dear Ableton
Can you please enable future editions of Live10 to have coloured locator markers? Being able to choose colours as you do for clip colours would make labelling the arranger screen much easier and way less confusing (especially if you have many locators).
thankyou!

Live 10 future additions
Dear Ableton Can you please consider adding more detail in the output meter of the Master channel? ... I know that you can expand the size of the meter in session view and this then gives you dB but you can't do that in arrangement view ... you're working blind to a large extent. A dedicated UV disp...

Re: Importing ".k25" Kurzweil 2500 sample libraries
I'm helping a live ensemble reboot an old Glenn Branca composition. Originally the piece was played on several Kurzweil 2500 keyboards, but I'm trying to create a Live set with all the original samples so they don't have to rent heavy/expensive keyboards all the time. The original files the group h...

Re: Bank and Program change sending to external gear, how?
I like to send from Live bank and prog change messages via the NI Komplete Audio Interface to my external Elektron gear. Live is master and sends perfect midi clock to my external gear. Do anyone know how to do this? Hi Dayflight Live can send Bank/Patch change data as per the link in the other pos...

Re: Beatseeker = P.O.S.
I have been able to find any videos that show you how to actually set up and use beatseeker. The only video I've seen just shows it off as a demo but doesn't tell you how set up or get started. Any links or suggestions that I may have missed would be super helpful. Thanks! Max Hi I've been playing ...

Re: Using B-Keeper in Live
Those settings are all fine. Main thing is, not zero. Only adjust response value. Ignore the reset. Latency refers to the latency between getting a click input and processing a kick drum audio signal and getting an event in. There are two ways to run B-Keeper. 1. Internal Click, which is pretty eas...

Re: Using B-Keeper in Live
Hi A.R. I've been playing around for a few hours with a drum machine and have jagged a workable B-Keeper setup. My settings are as follows: Response Settings: response 0.8 / headroom 0.19 Auto threshold: speed 0.43 / room 0.26 Window Response: expand 0.85 / contract 0.8 Tempo and Phase: alpha 0.94 /...

Re: Using B-Keeper in Live
Hi RadioOnMars wow... I felt as if I was the last person on earth using that device... I'm not sure what the problem is ... My band has been using the device for about 6 months and it's generally been pretty good ... not 100% accurate but very close and quite usable (especially on faster songs). We ...
