I think I figured it out. It seems that LiveAPI also stores the scenes as a list. So the best way to get a list of all the scene names is by using "live_set scenes N" but where N DOES NOT equal the ID of the scene but it's index in the scene list. Top scene is index 0, 2nd scene is index 1...

Mine is showing $284 to upgrade to suite even though I already own Sampler and M4L. Kind of steep I think. Am I correct in assuming that if I upgrade to 9 standard my M4L and Sampler will get upgraded with it?

I've gotten a little closer to the issue I think. I've noticed that the transport object counts to 4 in quarter notes even though the time signature is correctly displaying at 9/8. Live is counting 8th notes but the beat outlet only updates every other beat.

Having a problem with the step sequencer from the lesson folder. The transport is set to 9/8 and when I adjust the GUI to use 18 steps (both the number box and the loop bar at the top of the GUI) it still only goes for 16 steps. Is this a bug?

Dammit. You're absolutely correct! I filtered the data in js and took a second look. It turns out that "get_selected_notes" returns all the notes in ascending pitch order. So it would list all the E3s and then the E4s and so on. So that makes sense now. I have to sort the list by start tim...
