Record the MIDI to a new track and play it back with clips rather than Live... Cheers D
that's what i've been doing, it just makes any future chord changes really annoying. really wish there was an arp to end all arps, i mean the abes stock arp is so very old and l...

Mixdown issue with the official M4L Arp (formerly Arp One).
So, whenever i bounce a track with the arp there's a major delay on that track. Also happens when freezing the track.
Any ideas?

Load clips into selected session slot without a mouse
Topic says it. Some way to load/hotswap a clip into currently selected clip slot. It is totally possible with a mouse as it is, you can even save and load several clips at once in the form of an .als file. Just no way of doing it without a mouse

Re: Fabfilter ProQ and Saturn vs EQ8 and Lives Sat/Dist
fab q is considerably better IMO. More options, more intuitive, better analyzer, better interface.
It's a little "behind" when making very fast automations, but unlike eq8 there are no glitches when moving a cutoff too fast.
recommended.

Good thing I didn't bother stray with that

Re: The Clyphx Tricks and Tips Thread
Yes, Clyphx really is amazing. I took the Codecademy Python course just to have an idea of what goes on inside the script. Time well spent, and lots of fun. However, I've been trying to edit the "ClyphXSnapActions.py" to not store "nested_device" values. The reason is that the lo...

Re: Arduino MIDI controller w/ 10 encoders, LCD + RGB buttons
This is exactly what i want. And I too have thought about getting a Remote sl just for the lcd feedback, but it just seems silly.
How about using smaller encoder caps? Or two displays?

Re: "Clip tempo" uploaded to maxforlive.com
Yep that's what i was afraid of : the ramp time is calculated on the basis of the current tempo, which, by definition , is obsolete when you trigger the change. It would involve another algorithm, not sure it's doable with a really tight timing. Got to think about it. The two other things are easy ...

How and where does one insert this code ?
I searched all over the internet, but couldn't find it...
Thanks in advance.
Just copy/paste it into a max window. Sounds weird, I know but it works.

Re: building a "clip tempo changer" and need a bit of help.
Thanks Barstu, It was my intention to build it on Tempo Automator, and i have had a look at your TRamp, but missed the new one using clips. Yours work great, and it has helped me to make the Automator fit my own needs. <pre><code> ----------begin_max5_patcher---------- 2851.3oc6bs0iaaiE94I+JHLlGZClY...

building a "clip tempo changer" and need a bit of help.
Here's the idea: Any clip with a name ending with "/" followed by a number, will gradually change the bpm to that number when triggered. Example: "Mainstream electro house /128" Here's where i am so far: I've managed extract the number from the clip name. Unfortunately, the numbe...
