Hi,

I'm selling my copy of Melody 4 Editor for half the price of a new copy, which
makes it 199.5 EUR.

Waves Bass Rider for cheap

Hi,

I'm selling the Wave's Bass Rider plugin for 10USD.
There's a fee of 10USD I think to transfer the license, but it's still less than half the price of the current Waves discount so not a bad deal.

Re: Question about mastering

How much gain reduction are you seeing on the limiter when it distorts? I checked and it seems to be about 5dB. It's kind of hard to see the exact reduction in the Ozone Maximizer. I might be looking in the wrong place though. Right beneath the level-meter where I set my threshold, there is a flash...

Re: Question about mastering

It's not that uncommon for a limiter or compressor to be working all the time when you're aiming for a target loudness like -12LUFS. I'm a little surprised that you're distorting the Ozone limiter on it's own with that target, but a lot of that will depend on the mix and individual song elements. H...

Re: Question about mastering

You should generally have about -6dB of headroom before starting the mastering process. I do usually leave about 6dB of headroom. From your post it sounds like your gain staging in the mixing stage is off. Not that your tracks are too dynamic, but maybe they need to be adjusted before bouncing out ...

Question about mastering

Hi, I'm trying to learn a bit more about mastering and have a question. Say that I'm trying to go for -12dB LUFS integrated loudness on my track. I slap on a limiter and limit until I have the loudness I want. At this stage I can clearly hear limiter distortion. I therefore slap on an eq, cut stuff ...

Re: Set EQ Three to max 0dB

I made another version of EQ3 using EQ8's that eliminates a lot of the issues like this with it. You can find it in this pack, called EQ3.8: http://tarekith.com/assets/TarekithDJEFXv9.zip I think it's now in the Live 9 library too, called EQ Three in the DJ and Performance Audio Racks section. I fo...

It's well known that EQ3 is not transparent.
Yeah, it says so in the documentation but still strange that an eq causes clipping. Or maybe this isn't strange behavior?

Re: Set EQ Three to max 0dB

I should probably make a new thread, but I'll try here first. When I put an EQ Three on an audio track it starts clipping by as much as 3dB. The audio I am playing back is mastered with the limiter ceiling set to -1dB so it does not clip. I have sent an e-mail to Ableton and will hopefully get an an...

It's better for a live situation anyways to have all the controls organized in one place than to have to switch between devices.
I am a dumbass. Thank you :)

Set EQ Three to max 0dB

Hi, I've started working on my first session-view set which I would like to eventually play live using Push 1. I'm splitting my tracks in four stems; Drums, Bass, Melodic and Vocals and would like to put an EQ3 on all of them. What I'm having problems with is that it's hard to hit 0dB using the rota...

Re: Fast measurement of integrated loudness (LUFS)

Ok, so now I did try the software you linked to Tarekith, and it's amazing :) It's very fast, and as simple to use as possible I think.

Re: Fast measurement of integrated loudness (LUFS)

So I did not try the software you suggested Tarekith, but I did figure out that when I'm exporting a project to .wav I can just have Insight on the master bus and it will tell me what the integrated is. I think this is the fastet we can measure integrated loudness... If the export takes longer than ...
