Re: Is it possible to get all Clips for a Track in Arrangement

What's the end goal? What about the clips are you trying to manipulate all at once? There are a couple of ways to access that collection depending on how much/what type of interaction you are after (i.e. - if you just want to delete clips versus performing clip-level modifications).

Re: Is it possible to get all Clips for a Track in Arrangement

Yeah, absolutely it is. I think a month or two ago I posted a clip of a device that gathers all clips and lets you edit ones that are all of a certain color.

What are you aiming to do? We should be able to figure it out.

Re: Random filter freq with each key press (LFO?)

do you mean the LFO M4L device that comes with 10? Wouldn't you just need to put a "random" object in-line with the frequency selector to turn the selector into a range and then get random frequencies between 0 and the selected Hz? I'm thinking this may be super simple but I also don't us...

Re: Anyone to help me create a simple plugin ?

Scope this out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wEryFnGfuW0 edit: Here it is with Live9 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTtI5r1zZW0 I go through it twice: First delete operation goes track-by-track and deletes all non-playing clips. Second delete operation goes track-by-track and deletes all clips...

There's already an Effects Rack in the stock Ableton Library that does this, it's called Twister Filter I believe. You can find it in the Performance effects section.
I like this idea better.

Re: Macro Mappings - Pioneer DJM Filter Design

disclaimer: non max4live solution. I put the same thing into my template but use stock effects instead. I followed this guide iirc: https://music.tutsplus.com/tutorials/quick-tip-single-lowhigh-pass-filter-for-ableton-live--audio-6542 once I saw this guide I figured that I'd just use the stock stuff...

Re: is there somebody who can build a m4L device (for a fee)

Scope this out: https://drewreges.com/apc40-mkii/ I have it setup here where when you press a detail/clip button for a track it will bring up the waveform of the playing clip. it's what you were describing I think: move from track to track bringing up the active playing clip's detail view. Scope out...

To claim M4L is stable is laughable. It’s a chemistry set in a kindergarten. It’s never going to be stable.
It was never going to be stable.

Re: Unstable

M4L is unstable. There is an inherent incompatibility between the two programs. Get rid of it. Stop wasting time and improve the massive gaps that users have been requesting for years and years. Like Scene Follow Actions. Pay M4L developers a small fee for the best creations and integrate properly ...

Re: Javascript and deferlow

Here's what's in my setup: https://i.imgur.com/TqSrKHR.png I have one a listener looking at "playing_slot_index" on each of my decks. When the index changes that resets all effects on the given deck; a property change by way of a notification. To fix the error I sent an integer through def...

Re: What are your use-cases of javascript?

Here it is running the APC40 MKII - you can download the device and code, too: https://drewreges.com/apc40-mkii/ . This was a leaner way to track all of the lighting feedback for the controller, perform playback logic, add non-native live functionality, etc. I build custom objects via JS to streamli...

Do you need to create a whole new patcher or just some objects within an existing patcher? I think I might have some ideas.
