A rework to autofilter or separate filter device
I think it would be cool if ableton added a beefed up filter maybe just call it filter instead of auto filter. like if they added phaser filters, combs, dist filters, reverb filt ect with midi in, dry wet control, envelopes, lfos and a whole mod matrix, maybe even multi filters with stereo spreading...

Mapping to gaming mouse?
Hi,
My mouse just broke and I'm in the market for a new one. I was wondering if I can map commands to gaming mouse shortcut buttons such as cut, paste, show fades, ect ect?
Thanks!

Audio Interface power requirements
Hi, Sorry about the newb question. I just bought a UR22 Audio interface to connect to my MBP. I plugged it into my (cheap) powered usb hub and the interfaces USB connection was cutting in and out with no sound other than a popping. I plugged it into the only USB port on my Macbook and it works fine ...

Sample files doubling when dragged into user folder?
Hi, I am currently going through my sample library and organizing everything. I made folders in my user library to organize all the files into, but when i drag the sample from the sample library to my user folder it doubles the file in my sample library? Sampling from songs
Hi, I was wondering how you guys get samples from songs by another artist? Do you have a vinyl table running into your computer then record it that way? or are you downloading the songs in an mp3 format? I would like for the songs to be in a higher format than mp3 like a .wav file I assume? Or do yo...

Re: 3 person group, how to keep everyone involved?
Thanks for info everyone. First i would like to clear up that we are (young) adults mid 20s and they have thier own place but im at my step dads due to a nasty housing situation with a now x-girlfriend. Im just going to tell them they need to get a DAW to participate. That seems like the pretty obvi...

Re: 3 person group, how to keep everyone involved?
Also with the drop box can i send midi information? So that they can use the same sounds in a similar song were working on? Im sure theres a more technical way to explain this but my production vocabulary is still very low. Or would it basically be like us remixing off of each other?

Re: 3 person group, how to keep everyone involved?
First of all thanks a lot for the replies! Im gonna try and answer all the questions in one go here so hopefully I don't miss any details. They live together and are identical twins so basically one DAW for the two of them will work fine because they do mostly everything together. They are saving up...
