Re: OSCiLLOT
am i the only one who have Live craches every ... time when trying loading a set with OSCiLLOT used or even while patching? no matter what's build in there, i have never had a single session with OSCiLLOT without craches. thus i barely use the pack. the other day i tried using it again and guess wha...

Re: How do I stop ableton from doubling a sample after flatten
when I am making my own samples, after I freeze/flatten, the clip has my sound playing twice and so I have to keep cropping it so that its just the original and not two of them beside eachother. How do I stop this? i'm not sure there's a way to disable this behavior, but fyi this is done in purpose...

Re: NI people ready for macOS Sierra
another issue is ridiculously sensitive scroll in arrangement area, piano roll and everywhere it's applicable. this is not directly Live's problem though, it's present in other apps too (like JetBrains' IDEs or even in native Terminal.app)

Re: OSCiLLOT
yeah, well, afaik the latest oscillot is 1.1.1 and bengal is 1.0.2.
the question is if oscillot is about to be further supported or this is kinda final state.

Re: OSCiLLOT
a quick question, are the updates to be released someday?
is it realistic to go in parallel with Bengal, or OSCiLLOT is abandoned now?

Re: so it's 2016, i start m4l device...
what really makes me sad is clear awareness that Ableton will rely on Max/MSP for a long time (forever?) so Live will never have its own native, modern, fast, reliable, modular engine. there always will be 2 separate parts of Live: native devices with relatively poor routing (basically it's serial/p...

Re: so it's 2016, i start m4l device...
m4l has been using that runtime for quite long AFAIK. so really they gonna get rid of java or just will work with the latest version?

Re: NI people ready for macOS Sierra
a totally fresh start of Live with initial set (empty 4 tracks), no transport playing. macOS Sierra. Live's CPU meter shows 0 — 1%

so it's 2016, i start m4l device...
This package is exclusively intended for support of legacy software and installs the same deprecated version of Java 6 included in the 2014-001 and 2013-005 releases.
seriously, it's about to be ignored forever?

Re: bengal semi-modular FM synth
appreciate your response, it's clear now.
then i hope that this mono LFO would be running constantly, regardless any NoteOn/Off messages, like 'in background'

Re: bengal semi-modular FM synth
thanks for you reply
sorry, i don't really get what is polyphonic LFO?
like if it's a wave that modulates some parameter (s), how the polyphony could be of use if its in a fixed rate?

Re: bengal semi-modular FM synth
very weird LFO behaviour imo, it works only when key pressed so its always retriggered regardless of its setting. the only difference is its starting point on retrigger which doesn't make sense. another shortage is that LFO couldn't be used as a trigger source without playing a note apart from seque...

Re: bengal semi-modular FM synth
May be it's time for a new native device, this one is a good candidate. Some kind of a semi modular version of Operator. frankly, i've already abandoned my hopes about new native devices so i force myself to be happy with these 'official' mfl packs/devices. on the other hand, Ableton has so much ne...
