I'm looking for a way to send note velocites to the modulation wheel. Is it possible?

This was solved by moving all VSTs from my custom folder to the default one.

For some reason Ozone 4 will not show among the available plugins in Live 7/8. I've tried reinstalling several times. my vst folder contains both iZotope Ozone 4.dll and iZOzone4.dll. Any idea?

I found that the keyboard only sends MIDI on one channel. So with several keyboards on seperate channels this would work. If anyone knows some other way, please share

It works like this:
- activate Midi Mapping
- click on your Clip
- touch and hold down a key on your keyboard, this defines your root key
- while holding down the root key, touch a higher and then a lower key on your keyboard to set the range

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I think using convolution reverb and maybe also the recorded ambience might give me the results I'm loooking for.

Using a 100% digital/MIDI/plugins setup, I'm looking for tips on how I could achieve more of a recorded type of sound, with some "listeners distance" to the instruments, something like a typical classical chamber music recording.

Thanks, laird! Just wanted to inform that the problem has been solved by installing the Maple midi virtual cable. Regular midi in og outs doesn't seem to work.

I'm trying (desperately :-) to get the following setup working:

2 instances of Live. In the first I'm sending midi out through an External instrument with Midi to set to Edirol PCR Midi out. In the second I want to record the notes into a midi track with Midi from set to Edirol PCR Midi in.

When overdubbing in arrangement mode, Live erases previous content if recording is stopped by disarming the track. Can this be prevented somehow?
