From a close friend who's one of the main IT guys at Symantec: Final verdict on Vista: I like it, but it’s certainly not worth the money. Stick with XP. Interesting... Sticking with XP, thats what im doing. Im back on Vista with SP1 and see if it got better I've had Vista on my PC for about a week ...

Do NOT buy from American Musical Supply. I had used them for years because of the easy payment plan. Once they charged the entire fee for a sampler at once, causing many overdraft fees from the bank (was supposed to be on the payment plan) and never paid the bank fees (even though they said they wou...

Just go to the main arrange page, and look at the far left menu (the small one that's part of the arrange page, not the big one at the top of your screen). There you can hit File, then add multiple tracks. It'll give you a choice of what kind, how many, and stereo or mono. You don't have to mess wit...

Their stuff looks promising. I'd be interested to hear any reviews if someone's tried them, especially that ratpack.

So if you go into MIDI map mode it won't let you assign anything? If not, you might check your Audio MIDI settings and make sure th computer is seeing the Axiom. I just got an Axiom 61 the other day, so I'm still figuring it out. From what I understand (from the complete lack of support materials fr...

I just got an Axiom 61 yesterday, and with the little time I was able to spend setting it up I'm very happy with it. The action on the keys is very nice, the pads feel solid (and not too sensitive), it was easy to set up in Logic Pro and Live 6, and seems to be especially sturdy compared with other ...

As far as the last few revisions of iBook and Powerbooks, they're almost identical - at least as far as the core of the machines. The only difference between the two that I know of are that the Powerbooks are slightly faster, allow screen resolution of higher than 1024x768, have one more firewire po...
