I love to produce in clip view. It gives me a ton of flexibility to switch parts around and find combinations of midi sequences i may otherwise overlook when writing in arrangement view. Visually this would help especially when changing + and - octaves it can be a little confusing. Also if you could make the entire range of that octave be the lighter color r of the root note or different color you would be able to see patterns on corresponding pads really easily.

Being able to change the color of the root note (Blue) and the active color (green) to whatever you want would be sweet.
