I am experiencing some real confusion with setting up host automation within Live 12.

When I use my original Kontakt Factory Library I see a fairly straightforward way to automate.

Out of curiosity I thought I migh be able to use the Chord midi effect in such a way that I could create a basic chord progression for a particular scale. Is there any way in which this can be done?

I am using "The Orchestra" Kontakt plugin and I want to record the modulation wheel but, as it stands at the moment, I am unable to achieve this. in Ableton 11. My mod wheel does very the controller manually but I can't seem to record it. Any help please?

I have a full track loaded into a slot in session view. I want to shift the clip so that the first bass downbeat is aligned with the start of the first measure. I thought I could just shift the wholle clip to the left or right. Any ideas please?
