Warping Long Clips Problem
I am a little bit confused with regard to way I can warp long clips. I have a full audio backing track and a set of six take lanes for the audio singing to this backing track. The tracks were not created in Ableton. I imported the tracks into an empty Ableton project which was at the default 120 BPM...

Clearing the Sample Editor Path
I set the sample editor path to my Recycle application. How is it possible to return this path to 'unset' please?

Aligning an Audio Clip in session view
I have a full track loaded into a slot in session view. I want to shift the clip so that the first bass downbeat is aligned with the start of the first measure. I thought I could just shift the wholle clip to the left or right. Any ideas please?

Warping a long backing track
I want to warp a long backing track that does not have drum. There is a short piano intro before the first Bass beat occurs. I am a little bit confused about where I should set the 1.1.1 point because the intro is almost just a lead in rather than a full measure. All the examples I've seen explain a...

Tap affecting unwarpred clip
I am using Ableton 11 and want to estimate the tempo of a backing track, so I attempted to use the Tap button in arrangement view while the unwarped audio backing track played. However, when I do this it interferes with the playback of the audio, even though that clip is itself unwarped. This works ...

Re: Original BPM of Clips
Thank you. Basically what I wanted to do is this:
In a seperate aplication I recorded a vocal track to some backing music, all of these resultied in audio tracks. When I take these over to Abelton I need to match all up to the beat.

Original BPM of Clips
I feel sur that in previous versions of Live that I was able to determine the original tempo of a clip by its BPM in clip view. It may be just hallucinationg of course but it seems that clips BPM as published in the clip view is the same as the project temp.

How to keep audio inside my project
In my preferences I have my Live gather up audio on project export. But what about making sure that samples that have been dropped on to a project also are stored with a project. I've just recorded five reasoanble audio tracks using another application that generated wav/mpr files. Having dropped th...

Re: Disk glitch on first song pass
Thank your that. I've increased the minimum and will keep an eye one it. I don't really see how this cache can be connected with my problem. But this mainly because I don't really know its purpose. Perhaps related to your original question in asking about mp3 and need to convert to wav. If that's th...

Re: Disk glitch on first song pass
I don't see any decoding cache in Preferences. Do you mean the ASIO buffer size? If so then this is currently 512. For a hardware audio interface like the Focusrite Scarlett I think anything higher would indicate a problem, even if it worked.

Disk glitch on first song pass
I have a project consisting of entirely audio clips. During the first pass of a song play, one of two of the clips will fail for a short time. During that time I notice the the disk load indicator displays. I initially thought that perhaps the audio source tracks were corrupt on disk. So, it surpris...
