I have Ableton Live 8 running on Windows 8. In Preferences , Midi Ports my TR-S6 is not located. Normally drivers are downloaded automatically however Roland did not write an USB driver for Windows 8, only 10 and a few other Macintosh OSs. I think that Windows10 you might encounter problems with windows but not ableton on windows... gosh windows is terrible.

I'm not sure, I'd think because Ableton is propriety software they "don't want you to do that/make it so you can't do that".

You are essentially compiling from source and tweaking the code some?

You can send a drive link to your audio track and the other person doesn't need necessarily have google drive to access that link, just an email address and working computer is needed. Assuming they don't have computer and you want to give your music to them you would burn a disc outside of Ableton....

i found the velocity envelope... it's in the arrangement view... not in the session view. you could ctrl c ctrl v it there

Ya, I bet you could do that in the 'envelope' within the clip. it would be the little. Or if you've some experience program you could write it out in language. I checked the envelope and I don't see a velocity feildset... My other advice if none of the above works would be to copy the notes and then...

session and arrangement view are separate ways of playing audio. session channels into arrangement but arrangement does not channel into session. Furthermore both can play simultaneously. If your tracks aren't playing in tempo, have you pressed the master track within session view that triggers all ...
