Is there a tool to add an envelope to a parameter in Ableton, like you do in synths, like adhsr?The envelope follower is connected to the sound's amplitude and does not have the desired effect. Yes, I know this can be done with basically just drawing modulation, but is there an on-parameter solution?

I just noticed we're missing automation for Decay and Size in Convolution Reverb Pro. An issue with this is that every time I load my project it ignores the values and gives me a huge reverb, until I move the knob again so it can re-set its values. My main library is on a Sabrent 8TB M2 disk, so 3GB/s read/write. Not slow but the sheer volume of indexing for all "wa" files at a time is ridiculous.

So I can't hold this in any longer, since this has to be one of the most annoying things in Live. It immediately starts searching after you input any letter. So if you want to search for a "walking" sound, it will immediately hang up after you get to "wa" because that's when it starts indexing all ...

I saw this benchmark on M1 chips with Logic, Reaper and Live... It doesn't look good for the efficiency, check it out:

Maybe some of the devs could chime in on what's going on. Definitely a great head's up for anyone looking to get an Apple Silicon system.

Pretty silly we don't have a Post FX destination for sending audio which would make this a lot easier for everybody. Like not being able to use my email to log into the forum, I have to remember a separate forum handle... Live is lagging behind with a lot of small options that just manage to ...

Hi guys! Does anyone know of a tool that can trigger buttons from a plugin (say from Reaktor, Kontakt, or regular VST's) at certain intervals. Like you can pick the frequency or use some random function and it will trigger that button you assigned? Thanks.

ok I see. well something similar should appear on each effect/instrument as well. sometimes a vsti has 8 modulated parameters and it's a pain to go through all. having this show up in a device's menu would be useful.

I am not sure but I think it's only looking for filenames? There should be more complex methods that look for file content. I for one am renaming files too often and forget I have them loaded in a project.
