So one of my favourite ways of using Ableton is to just jam on the sampler and record the audio or resample onto another track. I do a lot of my best sound design like that and sometimes when the feeling is right, I focus on the performance of the jam in a way that results in fully-formed experiment...

I've been trying to organize a workflow where several midi channels are going into a vst (operator) and I realized you can't route the output of a midi track to go into the midi effects of another (i.e. the logical first step in the midi chain). I'm trying to using the choking feature on a 808 drum rack and I can't see the instrument chain. It says: Unknown target class name: DrumGroupDeviceChainLabel.
