So actually you're saying I should get rid of the Saffire Pro and buy another interface?
I need at least 3 (preferably stereo) outs, so actually 6 outs, which the Saffire Pro has.

Thanks a lot for your answer,
I've tried ASIO4ALL too, works with the same results as the stock drivers.
I'll try out your advice

How to make my audio drop outs dissapear
Hi, I recently bought a Focusrite Saffire Pro 24. It works great on my desktop pc, but the only thing I really need to do with it, is perform live on my laptop (Vista... yes I know). So the problem is, as soon as I choose 'ASIO Saffire' as the audio engine (or Saffire Pro in ASIO4ALL) one of the fol...

Re: Focusrite 24PRO + Ableton live problem
Hi, No solution here, sorry, I also bought a Saffire pro 24 some days ago. Problem: everything is going smoothly and then suddenly there is a dropout of sound of some seconds. After a few dropouts, Ableton goes nuts and doesn't respond anymore. This is on my laptop, on my desktop pc everything runs ...

Is this interface what I need?
Hi, Quick question: I'd like to buy the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 for live performing with my band. We would have two XLR-mic's going in, run through Ableton (for use with Autotune for example) and then let them come out. This in combination with a USB-keyboard (M-audio Oxygen 8 v2). So basically, is...

My midi notes change octaves all the time
Hi,
My riffs that are made with midi notes constantly change octaves.
For example, it happens all the time that a riff is in its entirity transposed down
an octave. I constantly have to select all the notes and drag them up or down an octave.
Any help?

Wet Autotune
Hi,
I started using Autotune some months ago, it's pretty smooth. But I'm sure I don't get a 100% wet autotuned sound.
I know nothing about sends and returns so I'm sorry if the answer is going to be pretty step by step.
Thanks

Perform live vocals through ableton
I have a Tascam us-122 audio interface, which I use to output my USB-keyboard to a mixer through Ableton. The interface only has one output, I know it isn't how it's supposed to be done, but recently I added a mic, that runs through Autotune in Ableton and also runs to the mixer through the same out...

Connecting laptop with mixer panel
Hi, I need to connect my laptop with a mixer panel to play some keyboard parts live. 2 questions: I tried this: the mini-jack out of my computer to 'tape in' on the mixer panel, this worked, but theres this noise you can clearly hear when no other instruments are playing. Could this be because of th...

Triggering samples
Hi, I have always experienced this, but now it's becoming a problem. If I want to trigger a sample, sometimes it starts playing right away, but sometimes it also takes a second (an arrow in the timeline starts flashing but it only starts running a second later) How can I prevent this from happening ...
