Re: USB Audio Interface Recommendations, Please?
Well that's encouraging regarding Live 9.6. But are you referring to improved smoothness playing audio, or just Live freezing up & crashing?

Re: jBridge - Windows 10 Upgrade, 32-Bit GUI missing :(
Excellent, thanks for your reply on this. You said it's stable, but then why don't you recommend it? Just because it's a bit of a makeshift unofficial workaround? And I've read that it seems I can install the 64-bit version at the same time as 32-bit version of Live (different directories), to make ...

Re: jBridge - Windows 10 Upgrade, 32-Bit GUI missing :(
Hello guys, I'm thinking of upgrading to the newer 64 bit version of Live because my VSTs often overload the processing power available to Live. But almost all of my plugins are VST instead of Live plugins, and are nearly all 32-bit - many of which don't even have 64 bit versions. I've known about ...

Re: NO audio whatsoever
Hello, sorry if this is ever so slightly unrelated, but feel free to point me to the right forum if any.
I've been having a problem that Ableton has not been including all of the external VST effects on an exported audio file. Playing the songs live I can hear all the effects but after it's ...

Re: USB Audio Interface Recommendations, Please?
Hello guys, sorry if I'm slightly off topic but this is the most related thread I could find.
I've been having a massive issue with smoothness of my audio output. I'm using Live 9 32-bit on a new laptop with a fast processor & 16GB ram. I've fiddled with the input & output buffer size and driver ...

Re: will I gain a lot by getter a faster mac?
The previous commenter is spot-on. If the audio becomes glitchy sounding at *ONLY* 50% (which is actually still within a very safe CPU usage amount), then there's still much potential on your laptop. If the glitchy sound you're hearing is like a crackling sound while auditioning your music then the ...

Moving autom. data LEFT/RIGHT & recording into clip launch?
Hello, anybody who can shed light on this question can help out me and possibly others.
* In arrangement view I encountered a problem where I couldn't seem to drag or nudge a pattern of midi data to the left or right. How would I do this with preserving the pattern (rather than having to manually ...

Re: the intricate stuff, the complex.
As far as I can tell, the other two posts were regarding ways to play different synths, one at a time, based upon which note you're playing. However, regarding his question on how to play multiple synths at the SAME TIME - you got me brainstorming about this and WOW! There are so many ways to do ...

Hello re:dream and yur2die4, your posts have been immensly helpful. These are probably things gone over B4 in my training but now it makes sense to me. I have a bit of a learning disability so thanks for your patience. Maybe I'll message you l8tr if I still need some input.

Re: Unique settings for each sample in the same Sampler?
Hello, why yes. The reason reason I wanted to adjust settings differently for each sample is to customize the sound of each sample. I was thinking to use Sampler as the main drum machine, load many dozens of one-shot beats that I've custom created in WAV format, then use them for the rhythm of a ...

Re: Unique settings for each sample in the same Sampler?
Hello re:dream. Thanks but since I'm so new on Ableton I don't know how to use the "rack chooser", could you post a link to where I can learn how to do that? Also if I have many Samplers, say several hundred instances of it, won't it generally overload my CPU to smitherines?

Unique settings for each sample in the same Sampler?
Hello fellow music enthusiasts, please forgive my newbie-ness but I'm fresh out of training online to use Ableton. Here's my question:
Is there any way to have unique settings for each of multiple samples in Sampler ? So I want to use one rack with one sampler that has multiple sound samples ...
