Re: M4L Apple Silicon Native?

I'm using Ableton Live 11 and I'm still having this problem. What do I need to do? Update something? Can someone please say what I need to update?

Re: Editing more than 1 Midi CC at a time.

I'm honestly about to switch from Ableton 11 to Cubase Artist for this reason. Pause and think about how bad a feature has to be to produce such a change.

Editing more than 1 Midi CC at a time.

Midi CC automation in Ableton is a total joke. When you're editing CC you can't edit the notes. You have to CHOOSE between editing notes and editing CC data. And you can only edit 1 CC at a time. For composers with complex libraries, multiple CC is essential. Even Cubase allows multiple CC viewing ...

Ableton 10 Session View- moving automation with the clip at the same time?

It used to be that when you moved a clip, the automation just came along as well. Now when I move a clip, the automation stays put.

Do I really have to move the clip and then move the automation too? What am I, a caveman?

Any shortcuts or tips to solve this inconvenient disaster?

Multi track / Batch MIDI exporting

I'm not trying to sit there clicking each midi track like I've got nowhere else to be. You guys are alienating the hell out of pro composers. Thanks.

Take me to / Select "x channel"

I regularly have over 50 channels on my projects, but only have a 15 inch screen on my laptop. Some people are using 13 inch or even smaller...

I seem to spend half my project time scrolling up / down (arrangement view) or left / right (session view - this is even worse!), searching for a specific ...

Re: NOTE-Duplicate Up / Down. Duplicate Octave Up / Octave Down.

The idea is to duplicate the note to the same measure, and not duplicating it so that it appears afterwards.

Preserving the x axis instead of only being able to preserve the y.

A Pitch Corrector / Autotuner

Sort it out, guys. Even Cubase has had its own native one for some time.

NOTE-Duplicate Up / Down. Duplicate Octave Up / Octave Down.

For those of us who type / draw our notes in using the editor, rather than playing or recording them, the workflow could be greatly improved by this.

An "Arm selected track" shortcut key

This would change a lot for us guys who type the notes in and use the virtual keyboard a lot. Presently, we have to stop all our fluid typing and find the tiny "arm" button, then click it. It really breaks up the workflow.

Two very simple ones for the MIDI edit screen

I miss these ALL the time. Keep wondering where they are!!

1) A shortcut key to toggle between note editing and envelope editing. The button is RIGHT THERE. But I keep having to drag my mouse over to it. No cmd + e??

2) A shortcut for soloing the channel you're on whilst MIDI editing. I could map ...

Envelope following / routing

The Ableton Orchestral Strings Pack can't follow MIDI CC envelopes, only its own internal instrument ones. This means I can't use it as a MIDI slave when writing string arrangments that ARE following MIDI CC information like volume and vibrato assignments. Most kontakt libraries still assign MIDI cc ...

Velocity editing shortcut - v + arrow up or down.

Pretty simple. Select the note, hold 'v' (or some other key) and press the arrow key up and down for incremental changes by 1.

Hold shift and 'v'for changes by 10.

Could be very useful.
