I had a hard drive failure in my computer and had to manually transfer my files to my new internal drive (was on the road without my bootable backup).
Now when I load a previously saved set, my 3rd party plugins are reset to default settings.
Any ideas what may be happening here?

Hmmm. Just started up Live 8.2 and it installed the new effects racks. Not sure why it didn't do this when I initially installed the upgrade but it's all there now...

"Save default clip" is not working for me in 8.1.3 or 8.1.4b on Mac 10.6.3 these days. Anything I might be overlooking - I never seemed to have a problem before...

Why don't you just create a new audio track with 'master' as the input (audio from) and 'ext out' as the output (audio to). You can then specify which edirol outputs you want to use.

Too early to perform with Live 8?
I have a performance coming up and I'm a bit apprehensive to use version 8. Anyone feel that it would be too risky?
I'm inclined to keep using version 7 though there are a few things in 8 I would love to have at my disposal.

However - using Live 8.01 - Cannot play back 8 tracks without constant glitching. Need to increase buffer to over 1000. Then = 70% Live 8 plays 6 tracks at 66% Live 6 plays 6 tracks at 68% Something strange going on here. Live 8 seems quite heavy with high track count and low buffer... I have Live ...
