Re: question about exporting audio

Try throwing your exported soft synth back into your project - and make sure warping is turned off. It should play in time.

Roland Jupiter X/Xm

These synths look so hot right now. Especially the X - available in April 2020.

Just thought I'd leave it here, since I know what gets you all hot and bothered.

Re: Stop Sampler 'clicking' with crossfades?

I could be wrong (and I often am), but I think the crossfade function only works if you've got static loop points. I think the challenge is the fact that you're moving the loop start point...so it gets poptastic. I don't think it will make a difference in sampler either...:(

Re: Please help: Bass sometimes sounds different when I open the same project

What jester said.... Plus, are you listening in the same or different environments. Are you listening at the same or different volume level? Could this be related to listening fatigue as opposed to a technical issue? I've been using Live for 10+ years, and the only level issues I've ever had relate ...

Re: Adding audio stems and make all clips start

Yeah, I bet that gets old.

Are all of your stems already set to the same BPM? If so, set Ableton to the desired BPM and turn off auto-warping. Then try it.

Of course, that won't help with stem start positions if they are all different.

Re: Major audio dropouts on partial random part of the project.

I had a similar problem with EastWest plugins - their sample player (at the time) software was trash and would randomly omit swathes of samples. Still happens sometimes as well as some of their libraries suffer where you can clearly hear an audible loop point or clicks within the sample etc. I've r...

Re: Major audio dropouts on partial random part of the project.

hey guys after having this problem for a few weeks or so, I think I finally fixed it. at least for now. I removed some of my plugins which were "Melda plugins" and I was told they were heavy, don't know if that's the cause because my CPU wasn't spiking as I said. anyway, I removed those plug-ins, r...

Re: Why I never use Export Audio

I think that's a pretty awesome reason to do it that way. In fact, that's a great way of doing it. Thanks for sharing. If I ever get to the final mix stage I'm going to do that ;)

That's a huge difference, like 4 or 5 times the gain.

Simple FX don't do that.

There is nothing in that vid that would cause that, OP needs to provide more info.
Yeah, it looks like this is coming from an external instrument or mic, as far as I can tell from the routing? How's this set up, OP?

Re: Massive X - Massive F (Up)?

Not got Massive, but it might/should be possible to move any folder to where you want it to be using junction points (Windows) or aliases/symbolic links (Mac). These all work at the OS/file system level so the application should see the folder/file as being where it expects to be even if it's somew...
