It's just standard a midi out, so you'll need something to "repeat" or "multiply" the midi signal (which what this Oxi Split is doing I suppose).
You can find little midi boxes that accept 1 input and output it to multiple outs.
But maybe your just talking about MIDI's 16 channels?

Ok you're working on a variation within the same project, but still, you're creating a new .als.
You could make a feature request for something like: if an .als is tagged, then automatically tag every new .als within the same Project.

It's not a problem.
But you can have multiple Live versions on the same machine so you can install L12 alongside L11.
