It all depends on many, many factors. Can you please post up some details of your computer/OS/RAM/audio hardware etc, and then someone will be able to give you their knowledge, based on your situation.

MIDI Sync to External sequencer
Hi
I synchonize a hardware sequencer (Yamaha RM1x) with my computer system (Live 5.2, Audiophile 2496).
I do it this way:
RM1x clock sync set to internal
in Live EXT switched on. Since now the BPM settings in both devices are the same.
In DMA Buffer Size settings of the Audiophile card I chose ...

problem w/track delay in v5
i'm sure it's not a bug, but i can't hear any effect of changing the track delay, even by one second.
i have two drum tracks - one with loads of fx and the ather bare. hard to say if the former is or is not fully compensated, because it uses audio loopers like supatrigga and memory which may ...

Which subversion of Live 4 is the most stable/bugfree ?
I'm looking for the possibly stable host - got more than enough problems with Virus TI.
I somewhere read 5 was not as reliable as 4.
Is 5.2 more stable than the best of 4 line?

well, maybe there aren't any differences for MOST kinds of samples. there could be some here because the samples contain drums and instruments, which makes the transient pattern complex ( just a guess )
Look. The length is 1s600ms. Project tempo is 150. To be sure even more I imported one ...

How to make a sample to loop without activating warp?
I have a set of well cut (with LSRfree - from www.devine-machine.com) techno samples I want to loop, but I notice serious artifacts.
Although the project tempo is the same as samples' tempo, each of warp modes produces some unwelcome sounds.

long uninterrupted solo - how to do that ?
how to do this:
a long solo on one track should be uninterruptedly accompanied by changes on other tracks
one obvious way is to assign computer keyboard keys to clips, but one key is one clip - there is no group triggering in 3.0.4 yet.
it may get difficult to make everything stay in synth if ...
