Ableton's instruments are great but they're becoming way to small to enjoy working with them.

Re: Enhanced multi-I/O for 3rd party plugins and racks
+1 to all that. I'd only recently started experimenting with side-chaining using Live's native compressor. Once I got a handle on it I figured it would be fun to see how other 3rd party plugins behave..... yikes . The hoops one has to jump through to route a 3rd party plug-in are a) tortuous and b) ...

Re: Ableton 10 suggestions
Native LFOs.
As many as you want and assignable to anything you want - whether it be Live's own effects and synths to any MIDI control on a 3rd party VST.

Re: Native LFO
Bump for this. If Live 10 (Live X?) doesn't implement native LFOs then I'm probably jumping to Bitwig. I love the look, feel and flow of Live but I'm jealous of other DAWs' native modulation abilities. One of the developers posted an explanation as to why there weren't any native LFOs a few years bac...

Re: Scroll Wheel Zoom - For the love of GOD! Please.............
X-Mouse button control seems to be a good alternative for Windows/PC Users. It's very customizable. It is a very good solution (I use it too for scroll wheel zoom and a button to hide/show plugins) but I would prefer native re-definable controls for Live. Can't believe they never implemented scroll...

Auto-Filter side chain question
According to this video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpmCg-AYRE4 ....you can mute the track that the sidechain is receiving data from and the auto-filter will continue to respond to it. But it won't for me. I have a very basic synth pad with an auto-filter sidechained to a 4/4 kick. While the ...

MIDI I/O routing is confusing me.
Hi, all. Here's the setup.... http://i.imgur.com/jCMQHtc.jpg I want my Moog V to recieve MIDI from both the Arp and CCstepper simultaneously. The Arp provides note data while the CCstepper provides CC data to modulate the cutoff/res etc. The Moog's MIDI From menu only allows you to select one input....

D16 plugins not showing?
I've just done a complete reinstall of Win 7 64....fresh start etc, something I do every 6 months or so. Once Win7 was fully up to date I installed Live 9 32bit v9.1.9 and installed all my regular 32bit VSTs in the exact same place as I always have. But for some reason my D16 plugins (Phoscyon and N...
