aaah the problem is solved.. i had the latency of my Multiface on the lowest possible.. when i switched to higher latency the problem was solved!

The distortion sounds like crackels like when a audio cable is loose.. the sound drops and the crackles accur. It happens when i click on one of the menu option in the top of the screen (file, Edit, Create etc.) It also happens in Reason when i click on the top options and also when i right click in...

sound acting weird? maybe it's the fx kicking in? :wink: it could be phazing problems due to latency. also check the routing in the RME. Now i did all the routing like you guys told me.. the only problem i think i have left now is like the quote says the latency.. i hear a little delay in the sound...

This actually answers a lot of my questions! It's running a lot better now.. i only need to figure out how to get the routing in the RME right..
