I thought value scaling was meant to avoid jumps by changing a value from whatever the start position of the controller is.
What you describe e.g it jumping to the value of where the controller is at is the behavaiour I am experiencing in both normal and value scaling mode.

Problem with value scaling - Novation Launchkey
I have set the first rotary control on the Launchkey to map to the project tempo. This is with the InControl mode off for the rotaries.
However if I turn on InControl for the rotaries, move the first pot and then turn off InControl the project tempo jumps as if value scaling was not on.
It should ...

Auto arm when selecting a channel
When I select a channel in the session mode is doesn't auto-arm meaning when playing live the keyboard does nothing.
Using the controllers track selection buttons does auto-arm the channel which is fine but if I am selecting a track with the trackpad it doesn't and I have to remember to arm it.
Is ...

Launchkey - Track select by number?
Does anyone know if it is possible to select a track by number rather than using the forward backward arrows.
It would be much quicker and a bit easier to navigate if you could just hit a number (where the mute/solo buttons are now).
Maybe there is a way to re-program this in Ableton to override ...

Importing audio - setting things automatically
I am in the process of importing a lot of tracks into a file to play live.
Each time the start point is wrong and often the end point is cut way short.
Is there a way to have the start point always be the beginning of the file and the end point the end of the file, that all I want each time rather ...

Second Ableton instance not working propelry
I am trying to set up two instances of Ableton that are synced by MIDI, using OSX's midi application.
This is so I don't have to have a massive file with 150 tracks for my set but instead juggle between two songs at a time, one in each instance.
The second instance is acting strangely though ...

Re: Audeze LCD-X - Audio Interface Vs Headphone Amp
I actually demoed a number of headphones in a store before buying the LCD-X headphones. They are so much better than the others I tried including Sennheiser and Beyer Dynamics.
As mentioned you don't need a headphone amp for these, I think that would be a waste of money personally. Yes they would ...

Mixing Stems Live
Hi
I am new to Ableton as of this week although have been producing in Cubase for over 10 years.
I have looked a lot online and can't seem to find out how to do want I want exactly.
I have 14 finished songs that are each exported as stems in WAV format. There is up to 10 stems per song.
