There's actually a problem with the Hybrid and bus-power with the latest MacbookPros. There's not enough power for the Ultralite to work correctly. This doesn't happen with the original one. MOTU is aware of this and rumour is we'll need a firmware upgrade to fix this.

Anybody able to run Waves GTR Solo with Live 8.1 in Snow Leopard? I can see the audio is running through the plugin because I see the meters on the GUI but the plugin is like on bypass -no processing.

The M4L forum at Cycling 74 is definitely the place where you wanna hang out. Especially since I figure most of the questions are more max-related than live-related.

Actually, Max and PD are quite similar. The problem is that many objects that have the same function in both don't have the same name. But usually, someone that's good at programming Max can program in PD with a short adjustment time.

Exactly. Propellerhead implemented VU metering in Record and it's a joy to mix with it.

Yeah, I find that disappointing as well. I really hoped I could be able to create a spatialization plugin within m4l so I can work in surround for live performances. Guess they can't do everything at once and hope we'll see that in v2

Yes, it happens with the most recent builds of Max & Live. (40212 and b4)

When editing a patch in Max, saving the file brings Live in front. Is this an annoying feature or a bug? I'm used to save very often, incase something crashes or goes wrong and I have to get back to Max every time I save.

I can confirm this bug is fixed for me now with the latest releases.
