I kinda feel silly now for not having seen this haha.
Cheers.

Record the midi of midi effects in midi clips?
Hi everyone, I just got the M4L pack tricky traps and had a blast playing with the midi effects. However, I never used midi effects before and I'm puzzled how I now should finalise the track in arrangement view. Do you record everything on an audio track to be able to arrange it? Or do you just play...

Re: IRCAMAX 2 User Manual?
The problem is, that the built-in "lessons" are only descriptions of what the device does. There are several parameters which are tricky to figure out and near impossible to perdict by only listening to the changes. I'd rate the devices really good, but the lack of manuals and tutorials is...

IRCAMAX 2 User Manual?
Hi, I've bought IRCAMAX 2 yesterday, as the matrix synth and audio to midi effects seemed very interesting. So far I really love it and have made really interesting sounds with it. However, it is hard to find any documentation on it. There is a course in Ableton, but I'm looking for a PDF user manua...

Re: upgrading to 64bit
Thx for your reply! I've read that having both installed can lead to problems though and that ableton doesn't recommend it?jestermgee wrote:You need to reinstall the 64 bit version completely. You can have both 32+64 bit installed if you need though

upgrading to 64bit
Hello everyone,
I'm thinking about upgrading ableton to 64bit to be able to use more ram. Do I have to completely uninstall the ableton 32bit version and fully install the 64bit version or is there some kind of "64bit version patch"?
I'm operating with el capitan.
Thx in advance

Re: "This Laptop" and Ableton live
Thanks for your input. Yeah, I suppose 5400 RPM really is terrible. I`ve operated with a 7200 RPM harddrive up until now and even with this loading times were a disaster. Well I guess I`m stuck with my desktop then until the new MBPs are released :( I surely won`t buy an outdated MBP and every accep...

"This Laptop" and Ableton live
Hey everyone, My old macbook pro just gave up and since the macbook pro 15' 2016 presumably won`t be released until after June I`m looking for a transitional solution. Hence I don`t want to spend too much, but still be able to use Ableton live at a reasonable level. What do you guys think of this la...

Building a live set
Hi everyone, I`m building my first live set and and I`m wondering how I should approach it. I use push 2 and produce deep tech. What I have up until now: - First 8 tracks: 3 drum racks, 1 audio track for sub bass, 1 audio track for bass, 1 audio track for drones, 1 audio track for leads, 1 midi trac...

Re: Using any DAW with a touch screen monitor?
I`ve paid close attention to the potential of touchscreen technology since it was introduced a few years back and was hyped about it quite a long time. But there are some problems with it: 1. Working with faders often works fine. But the knobs, clips, etc. can be quite fiddly. In both cases you need...

Re: Ableton crashing at startup
Have you selected a very big folder as your custom plug-in folder? If so, ableton crashes while starting up. You can press alt while starting up ableton, which will prevent the scanning. You then can unselect that folder in the preferences.
