Yes, I also have cases where keytracking is sufficient and is of use. For sound generation without pitch this is fine. But I have other cases where I would like to have more exact and independent control over pitch and pan.

It depends on what you exactly want to do if this is possible: In native Ableton live the only way to do such things is using the chain function in an audio effect rack (or instrument rack). You can edit the zones in a way to achieve such a result. If this is not enough, then max for live is needed....

For multichannel output I often have e.g. 12 of the same devices (Analog or Operator) in one drumrack. The devices are routed to different outputs and/or panorama settings.
