Hmmm... My experience on the Mac has proven to me, that Live 4 is just not very well optimized for it's new role as a full fledged DAW... I wish it was better, but it really is only usable with it's internal FX, and some audio tracks... and a few really well optimized AUs, like Absynth, FM7, and say ...

On another note, I just realized with quick time 6.5 Apple has locked the playback and burning of songs purchased from the store to I Tunes... Even though I've already paid for them... I can't use a 3rd party program to balance, equalize etc. the songs when I burn them... This has affected a lot of ...

I would say it was elegant simplicity!... and furthermore the first time I saw Live 1.0 I said... Now THIS is the way a software interface should look... I've always loved it... I was thinking I liked the old white version better, but the new grey default is growing on me!

You got me there... I thought it was originally developed on the PC... But in the same respect, you could say it was a German product, which may explain it's rather quirky interface Heh He! Probably the environment that gives Logic such a bad name...

"Mac program" means consistant user interface and functionality... menus that look and behave consistantly...drop-down menus, alert/dialog boxes that have consistant information structure and type size, Hmmm... like say an Adobe product... Logic was clearly a PC product first, that has been massaged ...

P.S. Live is really cool, but the manual does NOT give any examples of setups, or step-by step how-to's!

All I can say about Logic, is it ain't no Mac program! That's for sure... no matter how much Apple sticks their logo on the box! I've used Macs for 20 years, and that program breaks all the rules for a Mac interface! Yikes! Sorry, I never got used to it, and I knew what I was doing! Reason... now ...

Yes, I found it, but when I have clips in the session view and the arrange view at the same time, they seem to play together... Unless I hit all stop? Hmmm... I'll have to check that again... I understand you can record the output of a track to another track... Can that be done with Reason tracks ...

Is that the prescribed way? I can't see anything in the manual that mentions doing that, oddly enough?? Seems like there would be more info about using the two different views? Like how to play the info in the session view, if there is stuff in the arrange view, and vice versa?? I know there is a ...

Just a quick question here... What's the best way to get clips/loops from session view to arrange view, other than copy/paste... or recording, of course? Say I've mmade a bunch of variations of a drum loop, and I want to put them into arrange view one after the other... If this is obvious, forgive ...
