Re: Sustain Pedal Polarity

No wait hold up I'm not gonna use a Max4Live device on each track to solve this issue! This is pretty fundamental.. what's the real solution?

Re: Question about reversing polarity on a sustain pedal

I am having this issue, and don't think that turning off and on randomly until I get it (which sometimes occasionally works) is a good answer. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Re: Ableton not saving recording PROBLEM

I don't mean to be one of those people that says "+1" or something like that, but wanted to confirm that I have experienced the same behavior.. seems to me like a bug. My suspicion is that some files come out corrupted, or just take some processing time. I've seen "Zero bytes" in...

Re: scripts not getting compiled

I'm looking for an answer to this question. Regardless of Clyphx, I have a folder called CUSTOM inside the MIDI Remote Scripts folder. It has a single __init__.py file, with nothing in it except: from __future__ import absolute_import, print_function On restarting live, the py file is not compiled t...

Re: Getting more than 8 Macro Knobs on a device

what about for non vsts that don't have the device paramaters configurable? For example, a m4l device or midi effect.. how can I set the order of the parameters and have more than 8?

Re: has anyone gotten noteout->another track to work inside Live??

Thank you very much you are awesome. That definitely explains why it wasn't working at all and it didn't seem like the documentation made any of that obvious. Do you know if there's any workaround to try to achieve this functionality? For example, whenever a bass patch is played I'd like to send a s...

has anyone gotten noteout->another track to work inside Live??

I don't know if I have a bug or not, but noteout doesn't work properly inside live. I double-click it, and do not get the dropdown menu that says which routing to use. In a patcher that isn't in live, for example, the help patcher, noteout works fine. I tested in both live 9 and 10, and same behavio...

Re: Switch though instruments with two MIDI buttons

Although Clyphx is ok, if you have Max, there's a fantastic little device: http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/512/dial-to-program-change Then, in fm8, massive, or whatever, load up the patches you want in the program change section. Once you're done, drop this m4l patch, and then assign the in...
