In this case it wouldn't have been a problem if the audio channel with the plugin had a 'MIDI From ...

Live's interface is so great in every other respect, but IMO it kind of falls down vs. programs that let route signals by drawing lines between objects.

Specifically I'm trying to get the DFX Rez Synth to work. I found an old thread about this but it didn't address my issue, it just made it sound like there is a solution.
I'm using the windows VST. The plugin takes audio and outputs audio, but it is controlled by MIDI notes, and I can't figure out ...
